Ariel Bianca Blogs
Ariel’s University Guide (Now Sold)
It’s always been a personal goal of mine to create my own internet community/website/business. After graduating high school, I discovered on Pinterest that blogging exists and that several girls my age were making money from blogging. I loved writing and Pinterest, so I created my college blog in 2020.
I taught myself to actually use Pinterest strategically and how Search Engine Optimization(SEO) works and I learned how to do paid campaigns on Pinterest.
As Told By Ariel (Current Blog)
This is my current lifestyle blog which has grown significantly over the past year. I still manage everything from creating the content strategy, Pinterest scheduling, creating any graphics, and handling brand deals.
Within 4 months, the blog’s traffic increases by 5,508% thanks to the That Girl trend. Then I had to revamp my content strategy to niche down on content categories that gave an ROI aka self care, gift guides, and college content.

I average about 10k pageviews a month from Pinterest, Google, and my email newsletter. In 2023, I’m working on scaling the blog.
I’m re-creating my Pinterest strategy for As Told By Ariel as of February 2023. I didn’t see Pinterest as an ROI at the beginning of starting my blog and put it on the back burner for most of 2022. Most of my traffic was from Google so I focused in on that for my first year. In the final quarter of 2022, I optimized my entire Pinterest account to be strictly related to the blog and created a separate personal account to pin anything not related to the blog’s main content pillars.
So far after a month, things are looking great. But with Pinterest’s new strategy and algorithm changes, it’s similar to Google where it’s best to wait. I am also more focused on outbound clicks versus impressions (aka a vanity metric).

Instagram?
I’m working on an Instagram strategy, but I don’t see it being a big ROI until later on. I’m working on a batch content creation schedule and the aesthetic flow, right now.
